Frequently Asked Questions
If the contribution doesn’t come out of my pocket, where does it come from?
The contribution comes from the sales agent for the carrier, Wireless Affinity Enterprises. How much does the Ed Block Foundation get? A minimum of $15.00 per order, based on the renewal or purchase of a calling plan and the purchase of a new cell phone.
I would like to participate in the Ed Block Foundation mobile program, but I’m locked into my current plan. What should I do?
In order to avoid the Early Termination Penalty, click on the following link and we’ll send you a reminder to renew your calling plan through Ed Block Mobile just before your current plan expires.
When I renew my current calling plan, can I keep my current carrier?
Yes. You can keep your current carrier, make any adjustments to your plan and purchase a new phone if you want to.
Do I have to purchase a new phone when renewing my current calling plan?
No, you can keep your existing phone and just renew your plan.
When I place my order, who am I ordering from?
You are ordering from Simplexity.com. The Ed Block Foundation has an affiliation with Simplexity to process and facilitate orders.
Why should I buy from Simplexity?
Simplexity is the largest and most trusted on-line provider of mobile calling plans and devices in the United States. They make it easy for you to compare all available cell phones and plans side-by-side. Plus most orders are shipped same day and they have a 30-day satisfaction guarantee.
Does my bill come directly from the carrier or from Simplexity?
Your bill will come directly from the carrier. Does Simplexity offer rebates just like some of the other carriers? You’ll get the same great rate plans from the carrier you select, but when you buy from Simplexity, you’ll get a better phone at a better value than you will walking into just about any retail store. Let’s Talk offers our own exclusive rebates that are not available in any stores.
Can I keep my current cell number?
Yes, your current number is completely transferable.
Can I take a tax deduction for the contribution to the Ed Block Foundation?
No. The contribution is coming directly from the sales agent, not you. If you would like to make a tax deductible contribution to the Ed Block Foundation, you can do that by going to their website.
